At the beginning of October, after a few days of rest in Camargue, I went to Ardèche to lead a week of fasting (stay Fasting and Trekking), with hikes, cold baths, conscious breathing, yoga, and, a special feature of this edition, an introduction to Vipassana meditation. An intense week where, in addition to the program, I provided 3 hours of care daily (Thai massage and magnetism). This allowed me to realize that even though I train much less than during the time of The Footprint, when I was a lumberjack, I maintain an equivalent vitality that is just as useful in my new professional activity.
On the very evening of the end of the course, I was back in Saône and Loire at Fabienne’s, a friend (and former neighbor) who, since I became a nomad, stores all my belongings at her place. After a short pit stop, I left again the next morning, weighed down by a few boxes, which I relocated to my friend Gaspar’s in Dordogne where I plan, starting next spring, to organize Optimal Health workshops.
In 2021, while participating in a reconnection to life workshop, Gaspar introduced me to Thai massage and later inspired me to train at Lulyani school in Provence. Since then, whenever we meet again, we pull out the futon for a very useful practice exchange to complement the courses and improve technique. After this beautiful week of sharing by the Dordogne, I joined Fanny near Bordeaux, a yoga teacher interested in living nutrition.
To this end, Fanny invited me as a speaker for her “Sunday Yoga,” a warm gathering where the yoga community intersected with hygiene practices. A successful event that we decided to repeat on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Mérignac, with, in addition, a raw food workshop and a conference on living nutrition. Then, a few days later, I followed up with the facilitation of the “Shamanic Detox” weekend that took place in early November in Gironde with Christel. A stay that I particularly cherish because it allows me to share other facets of my activity, where hygiene practices intersect with shamanism and new horizons open up.
Then, two days later, I was in Luchon in the Pyrenees to attend a Vipassana retreat of 10 days in silence with 10 hours of daily meditation. My first Vipassana experience took place at the end of 2025 in India and it brought profound changes in my life. Both in the way I view the world and in my way of meditating. However, the food offered at this type of event is not the most physiological (in Luchon, 50% was industrial) and it is also not allowed to bring your own food. For these reasons, I am currently considering organizing a Vipassana retreat with living foods. The first session could take place in a small group in the fall of 2026 in Dordogne.
Then, a few days later, I met Fanny in Andernos-les-bains to co-facilitate a yoga retreat with living nutrition, fresh juices, and hygienic practices such as cold baths, animal flow, and hyperventilation exercises. Once again, this happy combination inspired us to repeat the event from November 20 to 22, 2026.
After this last course of a bustling season, I found myself quite pleased to finally take a breather and slow down. I then left the Atlantic Ocean to visit my family in Saône and Loire before joining Alison in Switzerland to participate in a shamanic retreat (with plants) within the framework of non-duality and the teachings of the course in miracles. A divine stay that allowed me to close the season beautifully even though I only slept 5 hours in 3 days and 3 nights and came out exhausted… As always with the plants, I feel immense gratitude for the wisdom and guidance they bring to humanity with such intelligence. The themes that emerged were not new: reconnection to love with my loved ones, the importance of forgiveness, reprogramming my beliefs about the order of the world, letting go of fears and resistances to love, allowing myself to be touched by the beauty of life, seeing it differently, realizing the unity among all beings, etc.
This experience still fresh in my memory leads me to conclude the last episode of this year’s Rawd Trip by wishing us to place Love and Peace (which alone exist) at the center of our lives…
See you next year and all the best until then…
