AN INITIATORY JOURNEY
From Math Teacher to Explorer of Living Systems
In 2009, two years after working as a math teacher passionate about astronomy, I turned my back on the national education system and materialist science to start my own business in forestry. This was a physically demanding job, close to nature, which I used to fuel my new dream: to cross Canada on foot.
To prepare myself physically and mentally, I relied on triathlon and my forestry work. In addition, for 6 years, I undertook multiple summer expeditions without motorized transport through wild areas of Europe. Each of these preparatory journeys was a stepping stone, allowing me to accumulate enough experience to one day be capable of crossing Canada.

My Health Gradually Deteriorates
Starting in 2012, despite living an outdoor, stress-free life in the countryside, not drinking or smoking, cooking everything from scratch and eating exclusively organic and local, my health gradually deteriorated. Yet, more than half of the products I consumed came from my own vegetable garden, orchard, and chicken coop. I suffered increasingly from allergies to cat hair and pollen, colds, myopia, skin problems, and, most notably, sciatica that forced me to completely stop all sports. My health condition barely allowed me to continue my profession, and the realization of my Canadian dream became more than uncertain.

An Experience That Shook My Beliefs
In 2014, the year I turned 30, while kayaking down the Loire river, I went a week without eating and without feeling hungry, following a severe case of sunstroke. This experience shattered my beliefs about nourishment and transformed my life. Within 6 months, I subsequently discovered meditation, yoga, conscious breathing, cold exposure, fasting, live food nutrition, and barefoot running. A revelation.

My Expeditions
Since adopting this new lifestyle, my health improved significantly, and I realized my trans-Canadian dream along with 3 world firsts: America Extrema, La Marche sans Faim (The Fasting Walk), and L’Empreinte (The Footprint).
Crossing Switzerland via a 4000m peak - 800 km on foot in 24 days.
Crossing Norway from Oslo to the North Cape - 2600 km by bike and on foot in the Arctic.
The complete crossing of North America - 12,000 km by bike, on foot, on skis, and by kayak over 15 months of adventure through the boreal forest.

2020
The Era of Expeditions is Behind Me
In 2020, upon my return from L’Empreinte, I felt that the era of major expeditions was behind me and that I no longer needed to set myself such challenges to progress on my life path. In hindsight, I consider that these initiatory journeys helped me decondition myself from limiting thought patterns, reconnect with my childhood dreams, and open up to spirituality. Thanks to the hygienist practices I discovered in the meantime, which allowed me to surpass my mental and physical limits to achieve world firsts, I now describe myself as a hygienist-adventurer, or even an explorer of living systems. But I wish to continue exploring human potential and the eternal truths that contribute to the miracle of life in a different way.
2020 - 2022
Serving the "Laws of Living Systems"
In 2020, with Raw Flo, I founded the company Free Your Life. Within it, we produced articles, books, videos, and organized events and retreats to communicate what we called the “Laws of Living Systems.” But life had other plans. Following the virulent press attacks that occurred after the release of L’Empreinte in the summer of 2022, we decided, a year later, to close this structure and continue our professional activities separately.
2023
The Idea of the Rawd Trips
At the end of 2023, I plan to set off on another solo adventure, for a Rawd Trip this time. The idea is to be mobile and minimalist to easily meet people and open myself to what the magic of human exchange will offer. Along the way, I will be keen to learn in fields where I wish to train and to abundantly share my vision of a holistic and humanist hygienism that I call the 3Hs. Wherever I go, in France and elsewhere, I will offer film screenings, talks, workshops, and retreats.
