Ingredients for one person
- 4 ripe plantains
- 200 g of date paste
- Optional: vanilla OR the juice of a lime OR 3 tablespoons of carob powder
Preparation
- Spread the date paste as thinly as possible in a mold of your choice.
- Place the chopped plantains into a blender and, if desired, an optional ingredient. Blend well and pour everything into the mold.
- The final step is to let it rest in the fridge until the blended banana sets. It’s then ready to be enjoyed!
Tips
- To eat raw plantains, you must wait until their skin is black.
- With carob powder as an additional ingredient, the date paste is not necessary and the preparation can be poured directly into the mold. After chilling, the flan is ready and unmolds perfectly.
