The summer 2025 review

The latest news from the Rawd Trip dates back to the end of May and autumn is already here… My schedule and my book project leave me little free time to write on this blog, but I will summarize the main points of this summer, which has been rich and fulfilling!

In June, after the Mantra Joie festival, I attended an exciting training on essential oils at Myrtéa-Formation in Clermont-Ferrand. The scientific and practical parts, with the implementation of protocols for their use during treatments, were very interesting. I then experimented with holotropic breathing with the facilitators from the Centre in Dijon (managed by the Arborescence association) where I received the “message” that all human achievements are hollow if they are not filled with Love… Then, I continued in Lyon with module 3 of Nonviolent Communication which gave me valuable keys to better understand how to love more.

July and August were the months of festivals. I first reconnected with the Sangha of Thai massage at the Festi Thaï in Fonroque for 4 days of practice and meetings with teachers from around the world. Then, I led conferences and offered treatments to the fasters at the Living Festival organized by Zineb Réghay and Stéphane Carbiener in the Landes. I then spent a month in the Pyrenees during which I ran every other morning in the alpine pastures to physically prepare for the fasting and trekking around Mont Blanc. Between training sessions, I reconnected with friends and met new people with whom projects were born or will come to life. This is how a new type of stay was added to those I already offer: The Shamanic Detox.

Then, September started strong with the trek around Mont Blanc while fasting, which lasted 6.5 days with nights in a tent over a course of 170 km with 10,000m of positive elevation gain.

Under the guidance of my friend Hervé Deschamps, we were 11 adventurers of life, women and men aged 25 to 65, who dared to take on this challenge. With humility and courage, we set off each day to ascend the passes, drawing our energy from the unsuspected resources of the human body. A transformative and purifying experience that strengthened our confidence in ourselves and in life.

To rest in comfort after this adventure, I seized the opportunity to take care of a chalet, a cat, and green plants in the Bauges massif for two weeks. Before heading to Provence to take a course taught by the Lulyani osteothai school founded by David Lutt. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of presenting the film L’Empreinte to the Sangha during a movie night. I then spent a very pleasant week in the off-season in Saintes-Maries-la-Mer where I had occasionally accompanied Irène Grosjean.

In two days, the workshop “Fasting to Change” will begin in Ardèche, and taking the time to write these few lines between two events has allowed me to better realize how much I love the nomadic life. It allows me to reconcile my needs for solitude and time in nature while leading a rich social life punctuated by inspiring encounters.

In the next episode scheduled for December, I will share my plans for the winter that will take place outside of France… Thank you for reading and see you soon for new adventures!
