Ingredients for one person
- 1 to 3 teaspoons of raw cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Optional: a blend of powdered spices with ginger, cayenne pepper, cardamom, anise, clove, and cinnamon
Preparation
In a nice cup, pour the raw cocoa powder, honey, and possibly the spices, then add about 10 cl of hot water at 50°C. Mix well and it’s ready to enjoy!
Tips
- For children and adults who need an extra touch of sweetness: replace the suggested spices with powdered vanilla.
- If you need or want a denser or creamier drink, add a teaspoon of nut butter (of your choice).
- If you have a blender, you can replace the honey with pitted dates and replace the nut butter with whole nuts.
- To have a delicious milk chocolate, replace the hot water with a plant-based milk made in the blender.
- Nothing stops you from using cold water if you want a refreshing drink.
